Child care center enrollment for 2010
(April 1 2010 - March 31 2011)

Child care centers are welfare facilities providing day care for children during the daytime absence of their parents or guardians due to work, illness, or other unavoidable situations.

We will accept enrollment applications for the school year starting in April 2008 in the following schedule.

Eligibility for entering child care center.
 To be eligible for applications, the parents or guardians of children must meet at least one of the following criteria. (But in the case if relatives or others who live together can take care of their children, they are not considered for the selection)
(1) Parents or Guardians work outside their home in the daytime.
(2) Parents or Guardians work at home in the day time (except for housework) and are away from their children.
(3) Mother or Guardian will give birth to a baby, or recently gave birth.
(4) Parents or Guardians are sick or injured, or have a mental or physical disability.
(5) Family member is ill, hospitalized or has some disability, and full assistance is necessary.
(6) Parents or Guardians are engaged in recover work of some disaster such as e.g. earthquake, storm, flood, etc.

Distribution of an application form
 From November 2(Mon), in the private and municipal child care centers in Kashiwara city, and in
Kashiwara city office Division of welfare for the child(Window No.23)
 we distribute an application form.

Submission and interview
　To apply, parents or guardians must submit the required forms, and attend the interview with children in the following schedule. Application forms are available at each child care center and city office (Division of the Welfare for the Child, window 23) from November 2 (Mon).

※In the case if parents or guardians cannot come in those days, please apply at Kashiwara city office (Division of the Welfare for the Child, window 23)  from December 14(Mon) to 18 (Fri) except for Saturday and Sunday. The office is open from 9:00am to 5:15pm.
Caution: If you don’t apply by December 18(Fri), you are not considered for the selection from April 1st 2010.
